Το S.M.F - Sfendami Mountain Festival είναι ένα διήμερο εκδηλώσεων που γίνεται κάθε χρονο στα μεσα απριλιου και για το 2010 επαναλαμβάνεται για τέταρτη συνεχόμενη χρονιά . Σκοπός της διοργάνωσης είναι η διάδοση αθλημάτων λιγότερο διαδεδομένων στον κόσμο όπως είναι το ορεινό τρέξιμο και η ορεινή ποδηλασία . Η προσέλκυση αθλητών , παιδιών , γονέων και θεατών σε ένα κοινό στόχο όπως είναι η αγάπη για τον αθλητισμό και την φύση .

Το Sfendami Mountain Festival διεξάγεται στην Σφενδάμη Πιερίας και κέντρο των εκδηλώσεων είναι το δημοτικό σχολείο . Την πρώτη ημέρα γίνεται ο αγώνας ορεινού τρεξίματος και την δεύτερη ο αγώνας ορεινής ποδηλασίας . Οι αγώνες είναι Οpen και ανεξάρτητοι και οι αθλητές συμμετέχουν σε οποίον επιθυμούν ή και στους 2 . Το Σάββατο 10 Απριλίου γίνεται ο αγώνας ορεινού τρεξίματος 24 χμ. Η εκκίνηση γίνεται μπροστά από το δημοτικό σχολείο της Σφενδάμης όπου είναι και το κέντρο των εκδηλώσεων . Ο αγώνας του τρεξίματος μετά από μια διαδρομή 24χμ. η οποία κινείται μέσα σε αγροτικούς δρόμους , δασικούς και μοναπάτια (των οποίων το σύνολο είναι 9χμ.) καταλήγει στο δημοτικό σχολείο όπου είναι και ο τερματισμός της διαδρομής . Την Κυριακη 11 Απριλίου γίνεται ο αγώνας ορεινής ποδηλασίας . Ο αγώνας έχει εκκίνηση το δημοτικό σχολείο της Σφενδάμης και μετά από κυκλική διαδρομη 38 χμ. τερματίζει στο δημοτικό σχολείο . Η διαδρομή περιλαμβάνει 2,5 χμ. άσφαλτο , 13 χμ. μονοπάτι και η υπόλοιπη διαδρομή αποτελείται από αγροτικούς και δασικούς δρόμους . Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουν αθλητές 18 ετών και πάνω . Για αθλητες ηλικίας 15-18 χρειάζεται υπογραφή κηδεμόνα .

Στο διήμερο του Sfendami Mountain Festival θα πραγματοποιηθούν και αγώνες τρεξίματος και ποδήλατου για παιδιά ηλικίας 5-8 , 9-12 , 13-15 ετών . Θα υπάρχει εκθεσιακός χώρος αντιπροσωπειών , show με ποδήλατα , pasta party , dj party , πολλές εκπλήξεις και happening .
